Lior Rosner is the composer of the original score for the highly anticipated Michael, a Lionsgate film produced by Graham King. He is a versatile music producer and award-winning composer for film, television, and the concert stage. His work spans a wide range of genres and mediums—from composing orchestral works to scoring feature films and producing music for major artists.

His film work includes composition and orchestration for projects such as X-Men: Days of Future PastValkyrieLittle FockersCirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, and Fantastic Four, among others. His choral composition They’ll Remember You, featured in Valkyrie, was nominated for a World Soundtrack Award and has since become part of the contemporary choral repertoire. His additional film credits include original scores for Seconds ApartThe Geography ClubSins of Our YouthWedding Doll, and The Losers.

His television work includes the Netflix animated series Q-ForceAJ and the Queen, and NBC’s revival of Will & Grace, for which Rosner reimagined the show’s theme and received an ASCAP Award. Additional credits include the theme for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, as well as Heroes and Villains: The Secret History of ComicsBattle CreekForever, and The History of Comedy.

In addition to his film and television work, Rosner has developed a significant body of concert music. His orchestral work Sugar Plum on the Run—a contemporary sequel to The Nutcracker—features the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with narration by Jeremy Irons, and has become one of the most streamed classical releases of the decade. He has also created arrangements and orchestrations for organizations and artists including the San Francisco Symphony, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, and Michael Feinstein.

Rosner is the curator of An American Renaissance, a concert program featuring orchestral settings of songs by Florence Price and Billy Strayhorn, drawing on music from both the Harlem Renaissance and the Chicago Black Renaissance. The program was arranged and orchestrated for longtime collaborator and Grammy-winning soprano Janai Brugger, and will receive its U.S. premiere with the Minnesota Orchestra in May 2026.

In addition to his work as a composer, Rosner is a founding member of the electronic music collective KUMMERSPECK, which has collaborated with artists including Blondie, Philip Glass, and RuPaul, with music featured across film, television, and global advertising campaigns.
